I've always enjoyed making marks on things. When I see a flat surface, I am compelled to mark it up. As a child, that compulsion was not always appreciated by those who saw my work on living room walls, family photographs, and coffee tables.

I think everyone should draw. Drawing slows the mind down and helps us think clearly. We can all use time to regroup and energize our minds. When we draw, we are forced to really look at whatever we’re drawing. We get completely engrossed in the task at hand. Quieting the mind helps bring harmony to our lives.
