I was born in
Wausau, Wisconsin. I've been interested in art pretty much my whole
life. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point
with a BFA with an emphasis in drawing and painting and graphic
design. I've traveled to Europe several times to study art history
and explore watercolor painting.
My paintings have been mostly done for myself
and it wasn't until a couple years ago when I sold a watercolor
painting while visiting France, that I thought about selling my
art. Up until that time, I separated may graphic art skills from
my painting. I would do an occasional painting for friends, but
my paycheck came from working at an advertising agency.
